Previously available mainly through travel retail, it has since graduated into Oban's core range as a full 750ml bottling, matured in small ex-bourbon casks selected by the distillery's master blenders.
The nose offers citrus and light sea salt, while the palate brings a balance of ripe fruit, gentle oak spice, and a soft maritime smokiness, finishing smooth and moderately long. The smaller cask size is credited with giving the whisky extra wood contact and depth for its age.
