The Story Behind The Bottle
Habits Bottle Shop
Short Barrel Bark Batch Whiskey is a charity-driven bourbon from Short Barrel (Fetch), blending several barrels all more than three years old sourced from Bardstown Bourbon Company. Bottled at a playful 86 proof — a nod to founder Stephen Ochs having been turned down by 86 banks before getting the brand off the ground — it's an easy-drinking bourbon with a story behind every pour.
Expect a mellow, approachable profile with hints of cherry cola, vanilla, and apricot, making it a great go-to bourbon for casual sipping or sharing with friends, two- or four-legged. A portion of every bottle's proceeds goes toward local no-kill animal shelters, so each purchase supports a good cause.
Enjoy it neat or on the rocks, or use it as the base for a simple whiskey and cola. It's an easygoing bourbon that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Ways To Pour It
Neat
Served on its own in a rocks glass, letting the full character come through exactly as crafted.
On The Rocks
A single large-format ice cube slowly opens things up and softens the edges as it melts.
In A Cocktail
