The Story Behind The Bottle

Habits Bottle Shop
Short Barrel Bees Knees IV Whiskey is an annual fall release from Short Barrel (Fetch), delivering a warm, honey-rich bourbon experience through an expert blend of aged bourbons. Each state-specific batch — Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky — is uniquely curated, with the Georgia batch finished in wildflower honey barrels sourced from a Georgia apiary, while the other regions offer their own exclusive variations.
Every barrel in the blend carries a minimum age of six years and is double-barreled in Medium+ toasted barrels from Kelvin Cooperage before resting in honey barrels for extra complexity. Bottled between 108 and 118 proof, expect rich notes of deep caramel, toasted oak, and honeyed vanilla with a smooth, lasting warmth. The bourbon is unfiltered, which may result in a cloudy appearance or natural sediment — a sign of its unaltered character.
Sip it neat to fully appreciate its honeyed richness, or with a splash of water to soften the higher proof.

What To Expect In The Glass
Whiskey
Ways To Pour It
Neat
Served on its own in a rocks glass, letting the full character come through exactly as crafted.
On The Rocks
A single large-format ice cube slowly opens things up and softens the edges as it melts.
In A Cocktail
Works well as the backbone of a simple classic — let it do the heavy lifting.
